The spirit box uses a regional scan and store of radio stations. After initial scanning at your location, it then sweeps through all the preset stations to eliminate any dead noise and static. Features forward or reverse sweep, adjustable sweep, reverb, rechargeable battery, as well as a headphone jack. **Please note that when using headphones, you will lose the reverb function.**
